Fajr Film Festival announces selection committee members

The selection committee of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran has been announced.

The 36th edition of the Fajr festival revealed the names of the selection committee members.

Among the members are Mahmoud Arbabi, Ahmad Amini, Majid Reza-Bala, Seyyed Jamal Sadatian, Hossein Karami, Mohammad-Hadi Karimi and Pouran Derakhshandeh.

Since its establishment, the Fajr Film Festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

Supervised by Iran’s Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, the festival hosts veteran directors and new filmmakers from Iran and across the world every year.

The 36th Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to be held on February 1-11, 2018, in Iran.
